Portugal vs Denmark Prediction and Preview – 08/10/15
Euro 2016 preview – Portugal vs Denmark prediction
Portugal can welcome back central midfielder Tiago for this game, after the Atletico Madrid man was forced to sit out the previous match due to suspension. Ronaldo will once again lead the line with support from Nani and Danny on the flanks.
Denmark have creative midfielder Christian Eriksen available once more and he should slot straight back in to the starting XI. Otherwise, the team should be very similar to the one which picked up a point in Armenia last time out.

Prediction
Portugal know exactly what they need to do in order to qualify for Euro 2016 and that’s get at least a point from this game. They also have a match against Serbia, which given the circumstances, they will feel they can get at least a point from but Fernando Santos will want to wrap things up before then. Since the shock 1-0 home defeat at the hands of Albania, Portugal have won all 5 of their qualifying games, although each victory has been by just a single goal.
Having drawn their recent qualifying games with Armenia and Albania 0-0, Denmark still have plenty to do, if they want to qualify automatically for Euro 2016. The Danes are unbeaten in their last 4 qualifying matches but their last defeat came at the hands of opponents Portugal, who beat them 1-0 in Copenhagen. With Albania playing Serbia and then Armenia, Denmark know they have to win this match, in order to stand any chance of finshing second in the group.
Albania have shown that Portugal can be defeated at home but since that game, the Portuguese have been in good form and should have enough to seal the win.
