Tottenham Hotspur entertain London rivals Millwall in a televised FA Cup Quarter Final this Sunday afternoon. Read the match predictions to find out why a home win the betting tip at White Hart Lane. Spurs come into the game on the back of a 3-2 home win over Everton while the Lions won 2-1 at home to MK Dons.

Tottenham vs Millwall Preview

Tottenham are still without injured left-back Danny Rose, so Ben Davies will celebrate his new contract with another start in his absence. Erik Lamela is the only other injury concern for Mauricio Pochettino. Harry Kane bagged a hat-trick against Fulham in the previous round and will lead the line against a side where he has previously spent time on loan. Supported by Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen, the club top-scorer will receive first-class service.

Millwall goalkeeper Jordan Archer looks set to miss out on facing his former club, so Tom King will deputise between the sticks. Neil Harris is expected to keep changes to a minimum, which should see Steve Morison restricted to a substitute appearance. Lee Gregory and Fred Onyedinma will play together up-front for the visitors.

Tottenham vs Millwall Prediction

Tottenham are Chelsea’s nearest challengers in the Premier League but look unlikely to close a 10 point gap, so the FA Cup is their most realistic chance of silverware. Unbeaten in their last four outings, Spurs have been scoring for fun and will be hopeful of continuing in that vein against League 1 opposition.

Millwall are on a march though and haven’t lost a game since December. The Lions have been keeping things tight at the back and a solid defence has been the basis of their good form. They’ll be hoping to make things difficult for the hosts here and it will be interesting to see if they can keep Tottenham at bay.

However, I can’t see that being the case. Spurs have won 11 in a row at White Hart Lane and look unstoppable in front of goal. As good as Millwall have been, they have won just one of their last six away games. I expect the home team’s quality to shine through here and win comfortably enough.
