Burton manager Nigel Clough has no injury concerns and could stick with the set up that produced, in his own words, “the best display of the season”. Although it didn’t yield the desired result, Burton lost 2-0 at Portman Road, playing Jamie Ward behind the front pairing Lucas Akins and Chris O’Grady allowed his team to dominate for large spells in the game.
Birmingham have David Davis available after suspension and the 25-year-old is expected to slot back into the midfield. Manager Gary Rowett is considering replacing Adam Legzins with Tomasz Kuszczak between the sticks as the pair continue to share responsibility behind the back four.
