Lazio are finishing the season strongly and go into the final game of the season with back-to-back wins at Carpi (3-1) and at home to Inter (2-0). Fiorentina have again qualified for the Europa League despite their form having diminished in the second half of the season. They have failed to score in the last two games, playing goalless draws at Chievo and at home to relegation-threatened Palermo. They have not travelled at all well in this campaign and have scraped just two points from the last five away games.
