Serie A preview – Torino vs Napoli prediction. 

Giampiero Ventura has chopped and changed his Torino line-up in recent games but may be tempted to stick with the same starting eleven that hammered five past Udinese last weekend. There are no new injury concerns, left-back Danilo Avelar is out for the rest of the season while centre-forward Ciro Immobile and midfielder Joel Obi must prove their fitness after missing games with thigh problems.

Napoli have virtually a fully-fit squad available with stand-in defender Vlad Chiriches the only doubt with a hamstring strain. Maurizio Sarri substituted his three attacking players, Gonzalo Higuain, Jose Callejon and Lorenzo Insigne, on Monday but the trio are available to start on Sunday. Higuain scored twice against Atalanta to extend his lead as Serie A top goalscorer with 32 league goals so far this season.

Torino vs Napoli Prediction 

Torino bounced back from an under par performance when losing 3-1 to Sassuolo in the last home game to thrash Udinese 5-1 at Stadio Friuli on Saturday. Ventura’s side has been steadily climbing the league table in the latter part of the season with some good performances in victory and defeat. Torino have won four of the last six games and were five minutes from a victory at Roma before conceding two late goals a fortnight ago. Their home record leaves much to be desired however, with two wins and three draws in nine league game this year. Napoli are bidding to clinch the runners-up spot in Serie A and are two points ahead of third-placed Roma with two games to play. They have won six of the last nine games but have struggled away from home since early February, picking up four points from the last seven on the road which has included trips to all other top five clubs. Napoli have lost the last three away games at Udinese, Inter and Roma. This should be an entertaining game against third and fourth in the recent form table when Napoli can end their losing away streak.
