Huddersfield made light work of dispatching Rochdale at the weekend, winning 0-4 away to advance in the FA Cup. Huddersfield vs Brighton Preview
Huddersfield have Chelsea loanee Kasey Palmer is back in training after his hamstring injury and he should come back in behind lone striker Nahki Wells. Sean Scannell is out injured while Jack Payne completes a three-game ban. No major changes are expected for the hosts.
Brighton could be missing a few player here with left-back Gaetan Bong certain to miss out. He’ll be replaced by Sebastien Pocognoli while on the opposite side of defence Bruno should shake off a knock. Liam Rosenior is doubtful, as is striker Sam Baldock but Dale Stephens should be fit enough to feature in midfield.

Huddersfield vs Brighton Prediction
Huddersfield Town are in superb form at the moment and will be confident of securing a playoff place at least if they can maintain it until the end of the season. They’ve lost just one of their last eleven competitive matches and have won four of the last five without conceding a goal. The home side will provide a stern test for the Championship leaders here.
Having been unceremoniously dumped out of the FA Cup, Brighton will be looking to bounce back here. The Seagulls lead Newcastle United by just two points ahead of this round of fixtures and will be keen to stay top of the table. However, losing back-to-back away games does not inspire confidence and they won’t have it easy in West Yorkshire.
I’ve been really impressed with Huddersfield’s defensive displays of late while Brighton have conceded the fewest goals in this division so far. I can see this being a tight match and don’t expect a flurry of goals. The reverse fixture ended in a narrow 1-0 win for Brighton but the league leaders may have to settle for a point here.
