Bologna vs Udinese Prediction and Preview – 27/09/15
Serie A preview – Bologna vs Udinese prediction
Bologna are without the injured duo of Godfred Donsah and Emanuele Giaccherini for the visit of Udinese. Veteran forward Franco Brienza may make a return to the starting XI having been left out from the start in mid-week. Otherwise, it could be a similar line-up to that which played at Fiorentina.
Udinese will have to make do without suspended midfielder Bruno Fernandes, who was sent off in added time against AC Milan during the week. That could mean a starting place in the midfield for Panagiotis Kone. Antonio Di Natale may start on the bench, having played in mid-week.
Possible Line-ups
Bologna: 4-3-3 formation: Mirante; Ferrari, Oikonomou, Rossettini, Masina; Diawara, Pulgar, Taider; Brienza, Destro, Mounier
Udinese: 3-5-2 formation: Karnezis; Wague, Danilo, Piris; Edenilson, Badu, Iturra, Kone, Adnan; Zapata, Thereau

Prediction
Bologna picked up their first win and points of the season last weekend, defeating Frosinone at home 1-0 but could not follow that up in mid-week, as they went down 2-0 to Fiorentina. Having scored only 3 goals in 5 matches, Bologna will need to start showing more going forward, if they are going to win games.
Despite a spirited come-back in the second half against AC Milan, the 3-2 loss on Tuesday night was Udinese’s fourth straight defeat in Serie A this season. This makes Udinese the team with the poorest form in the league and they need to get out of their rut as quickly as possible or risk losing touch with the teams above them.
This match presents a good opportunity for both teams to get back to winning ways. Although Udinese scored twice against AC Milan in mid-week, neither team have been prolific in-front of goal and this could continue here, in what could be a low scoring game.
