Kazakhstan vs Holland Prediction and Preview – 10/10/15
Euro 2016 preview – Kazakhstan vs Holland prediction
Kazakhstan will have to make do without midfielder Alexander Merkel, who is out with an injury. However, defender Dmitriy Shomko is available once more, having served a suspension in the previous match and should slot in to the back four.
Holland have a number of players unavailable for selection because of injury, namely Arjen Robben, Stefan de Vrij, Kevin Strootman, Daryl Janmaat and Davy Claasen. Therefore, manager Danny Blind has a number of un-capped players in his squad.

Prediction
Kazakhstan come in to this match with just 2 points to their name and as a result, they sit bottom of Group A. Not only have the team been struggling to score goals, they also have the joint worst defensive record in the group, having conceded 16 goals in 8 games. Although Kazakhstan are yet to win a match in qualifying, they have been difficult to beat and picked up a confidence boosting point at group leaders Iceland last time out. This will be their last chance to give their home fans something to cheer about in this campaign.
To say that Holland have had a stinker in this group is an understatement, as the best they can now achieve is a play-off place. In order to qualify, Holland have to win both of their remaining games and hope that Turkey drop points in their matches. Considering Turkey have to play Czech Republic and Iceland, this is a possibility but Holland really need to take care of things at their end of the bargain first. Having lost their last two qualifying games to Iceland and Turkey, without scoring a goal, the first thing on their mind will be to find the back of the net.
Kazakhstan will not be easy to beat and with the likes of Robin van Persie struggling for form, plus a number of players out injured, this has the potential to be a banana skin for the Dutch.
