Open De Espana Golf Betting Tip
The Open De Espana is held at the Real Club Valderrama this year, a course which has always provided a stern test. Warm sunny conditions with little wind are forecast for this event and it may play a little easier than in 2011when only six players finished under par.
The 6,991yd Par 71 layout that demands accuracy, rather than power from the tee, and sound positional play from the undulating fairways to larger and very quick greens.
Open De Espana Golf Betting Tip
Sergio Garcia 6-1 win Ladbrokes.
Despite another poor Major performance last week, on course form alone, Sergio Garcia still has to be included in any staking plan this week. The enigmatic Spaniard possesses unbelievable talent, but is mighty hard to catch right, and has the habit of downing tools if he isn’t in the mood, which he seemed to do in his third round of 81 last week. At least he fought back well on Sunday, with a final round of 71, which hopefully will give him some confidence for this week in his home Open; in an event with his name attached to it.
His course form here is by far the best in the field, with a win the 2011 Andalucia Masters, and excluding 2007, his previous six form stats here read T7-T7-2-2-T2-T4. I just have a feeling that he will be up for this weeks gig, on a track that allows him to use his great imagination and ball striking skills.
