The Louisiana event returns to the TPC course, which has hosted since 2007. It plays to 7,425 yards, and is one of the easier courses on tour, which leads to a mixture of the longer and shorter hitters winning this event. This Pete Dye course has numerous water hazards, and plenty of sand and waste areas also. But it’s really the player who can keep out of trouble, whilst making a heap load of birdies this week who will win. Justin Rose is defending, and had to get to -22 to win last year. This course has lent it self to first-time winners on tour, and it would be no surprise if that happens again this week, especially with some of the bigger names either a little off their game or coming back after a break.

Daniel Berger 25/1 E/W Paddy Power (7 places)

Berger had a decent finish last year, with a birdie fuelled sixth placed finish, and has gone from strength to strength since then. He had a really impressive Masters and showed that his high finish the previous week at the Houston was no fluke. He looks like a winner in waiting on the Tour this year, hopefully this week! He’s an impressive golfer, is long of the tee, and when in the mood racks up the birdies. Only negative is that if he plays a bad hole, he does sometimes go on to compound the error with another. Hopefully this easier layout will be right up his alley this week.
