Sheffield Wednesday vs Brighton Prediction and Preview – 13/05/16
Championship playoff preview – Sheffield Wednesday vs Brighton prediction.
Atdhe Nuhiu is the biggest injury concern for Sheffield Wednesday, the giant striker limped off against Wolverhampton on Saturday with a knee problem. Academy graduate Jack Stobbs replaced him on that occasion but Carlos Carvalhal has more experienced alternatives in Gary Hooper and leading scorer Fernando Forestieri. Ross Wallace is available after serving a three-match ban and could come in at the expense of Aiden McGeady.
Brighton boss Chris Hughton is hoping to get Dale Stephens’ red card versus Middlesbrough overturned. The influential midfielder was sent off for a challenge which left Gaston Ramirez with a gaping leg wound and if his plea is unsuccessful, will miss the playoff bid along with centre-back Lewis Dunk who serves the second of his two-match ban. Gordon Greer is expected to partner Connor Goldson at the heart of defence.
