The seven-year-old son of Voix Du Noid is just below the very best chasers over two to two and a half miles. His third place finish behind Sire Du Grugy and Special Tiara in Sandown’s Grade 1 Tingle Creek Chase was possibly his best run of the last campaign (watch his run in the video). Fourteen horses are still in contention for the first prize of £36,567 at the five-day declaration stage but that figure is sure to be reduced before the runners go to post with several having other possible targets. Top weight Smad Place may find this trip on the sharp side while the five horses at the bottom of the handicap would have to carry more than their allotted weight if taking part.
