Free Horse Racing Tip – bet365 Hurdle
The high-class chaser Cue Card is the star on show at this Saturday’s bet365 Charlie Hall Chase meeting at Wetherby but the Colin Tizzard-trained ten-year-old is 4-7 with bookmakers for the extended three-mile feature race and too short to be our racing tip. It is the supporting bet365 Hurdle at 2.45pm which provides the value bet at the meeting and the consistent Lil Rockerfeller, trained by Neil King and ridden by Trevor Whelan that has been selected for the free horse racing tip.
Free horse racing tip for the bet365 Hurdle
Available at 8-1 with the sponsor, the son of Hard Spun is the youngest horse the race at five but boasts some of the strongest form including creditable victories at Sandown and Fontwell last season, the latter being a comprehensive win from Ubak in the Grade 2 National Spirit Hurdle. On the back of that performance connections decided to take the brave route and go for the Stan James Champion Hurdle rather than the longer Stayers’ Hurdle and while beaten the best part of twenty lengths by Annie Power the gelding was far from disgraced with the likes of Camping Ground, Hargam and Peace And Co behind.
Lil Rockerfeller will be more at home over Saturday’s trip of three mile and is taken to get the better of likely favourite Ballyoptic who will find this tougher than the victory achieved in a Chepstow handicap recently. Cheltenham Festival scorer Unowhatimeanharry is almost certain to miss the race and with Saphir Du Rheu expected to head to Ascot instead of a journey up north from Ditcheat, the race could cut up once final declarations are made. Native Ruler and The Romford Pele may have this as a prep for targets over the bigger obstacles in the near future leaving If In Doubt as the one to chase home the selection and the Nigel Twiston-Davies trained market leader.
