Free Horse racing Tip – November Handicap
The 2016 Flat racing season draws to a close on Saturday afternoon and our free horse racing tip goes in the major betting race of the day, the 1m 4f Betfred November Handicap for which a maximum field of 23 looks guaranteed. Higher Power, Cape Cova and Wrangler head the ante-post market at around the 8-1 mark although the last named is far from certain to make the final line-up as William Haggas’s charge needs several to drop out at Thursday’s final declaration stage in order to make the cut.

One horse who has no fears on that score is the David Elsworth-trained Dashing Star who can improve upon his finishing position of two year’s ago (watch his run in the video). He finished third behind runaway winner Open Eagle after trying to make all of the running under Jamie Spencer. Shane Kelly takes over on this occasion and off just a 2lb higher mark the six-year-old son of Teofilo can take advantage of a light 2016 campaign and provide a profitable racing tip at the 20-1 generally available.

The gelding has some excellent handicap form to his name including when beaten narrowly by the 110-rated Astronereus ( now on a mark of 110 ) on his final start of 2015 at York last July. Dashing Star was not seen again until reappearing at Leicester recently, running a race full of promise when finishing a close-up fifth behind likely fellow rival Tawdeea, which should put the horse spot-on for the final big handicap of the season on Town Moor.
The ground may not be soft enough for last year’s winner Litigant and a bigger danger could turn out to be the Kevin Ryan-trained Erik The Red who has looked to have a decent prize within his capabilities all season and may improve for his first try at this trip on Saturday.
