Liverpool will hope that key player Philippe Coutinho is over his hamstring scare but Adam Lallana will miss the visit of Sunderland. Danny Ings, Sheyi Ojo and Joe Gomez are injured while Mamadou Sakho is out of favour. Former Black Cat Jordan Henderson will pull the strings in midfield for the hosts.
Sunderland will be without Papy Djilobodji who was sent off in the win over Hull. John O’Shea should deputise in central defence while Jan Kirchhoff and Sebastian Larsson are nearing a return to first team action.
