The Shenzhen International returns this week to the Genzon Golf Club, Shenzhen, Southern China. This scenic parkland track hosted this event for the first time last year, but has also played host to the 2014 Volvo China Open. The 7,145yd Par 72 layout is fairly generous off the tee, and water comes into play on many of the holes, which meanders around the Dragon Lake.

The two previous course and distance winners, Alexander Levy and Kiradech Aphibarnrat indicate this is very much a track that is set up to suit an attacking style of play, but steady players like Francesco Molinari and Anders Hansen have also performed well around here. Humid conditions, with possible showers and light winds are forecast for the tournament, so expect more of a birdie fest than last weeks war of attrition around Valderrama, especially if the rough is again not very penal.

Tommy Fleetwood 25-1 E/W Ladbrokes A player with the best course form around this layout, is undoubtedly Tommy Fleetwood. The long haired Formby golfer finished 2nd in the 2014 Volvo China Open around here, and also finished 3rd in this event last year, where he led the GIR stats. He warmed up nicely for this week with a never near to challenge Tied 19th place in Spain last week, and this lightly raced golfer this year is expected to go well at a layout that obviously suits his eye. Do not be fooled by his dodgy haircut, this likeable Lancastrian is definitely one of the best ball strikers on Tour, and if he can put in a decent week on the green, expect another bold show.
