Aston Villa vs Stoke Prediction and Preview – 03/10/15
Premier League preview – Aston Villa vs Stoke prediction
Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood, has a few players returning from injury, some of which could came in to the team. Those in contention include Adama Traore and Gabby Agbonlahor. However, Sherwood is still likely to be without Jores Okore and Gary Gardner.
Having won last weekend, Stoke manager Mark Hughes may keep faith with the same team which started that match. The only change could be in attack, with Xherdan Shaqiri a doubt, Jonathan Walters could drop a bit deeper, with Biram Diouf leading the line as striker. Philipp Wollscheid should keep his place in the back four.

Prediction
Since winning at Bournemouth on the opening days of the season, Aston Villa have not tasted the feeling of leaving the pitch having won a Premier League game. In that time, Tim Sherwood’s team have drawn 1 and lost 5 of their Premier League games, the only ray of light came via a 1-0 win over Birmingham in the League Cup. Aston Villa have been scoring goals but keeping them out has become a problem, conceding 9 in their last 4 Premier League matches.
Stoke have not performed much better than their hosts, having also won just the 1 league game this season. However, that win did come last weekend and will at least give the Stoke team some confidence heading to Villa Park. Stoke are now unbeaten in their last 3 competitive matches and have played well away to Aston Villa in recent years, remaining unbeaten in their last 5 matches.
Stoke have shown they are capable of taking points away from home, having held Spurs and Norwich to draws. They could be heading back to the Potteries with at least another point from this game.
