Cardiff are chasing league-leaders Wolves for the Championship title and while Neil Warnock’s side are trailing the leaders by six points, they have a game in hand and so a league title is well within reach with nine games remaining.
Cardiff have now accumulated seven consecutive wins and are top of the table on current form. They’ll be going into this game full of confidence against a struggling Burton side who have only managed to find the net once in their last five matches. Warnock’s side haven’t had trouble finding the net and have scored eight in their last three, including three in their 3-1 win away to Brentford two weeks ago.
While Cardiff are second from the top in the table, Burton are second bottom and are struggling to pick up points in order to move out of the relegation zone.
