Cologne v Bremen – Saturday 7 May

Cologne have won two and drawn one of the last three games and despite having ensured their place in the top flight, did not lie down at Augsburg who are fighting for survival and had won their three previous games. Cologne had lost four consecutive home games against top six sides but gave their fans something to cheers when hammering Darmstadt 4-1 in the RheinEnergieStadion two weeks ago.

Bremen won their last two home games to give themselves a chance of finishing above the drop zone and lost 2-1 at Hamburg in their last away game. They’ve lost five of the last six on the road and rarely play a draw (two all season) away from home.

Bremen’s odds are based on the fact they’ll be fighting hard for a result but Cologne are in good form and the 2.92 at Marathonbet is a very big price for the home win.
