Crystal Palace vs Tottenham Preview
Crystal Palace are without a win in their last four games and are just one point above the bottom three in 15th place. However, their home form has been excellent and The Eagles have lost just once in their last 11 games at Selhurst Park where they have claimed points from meetings with Manchester City and Chelsea. Roy Hodgson will be looking to get back to the winning ways that his side showed following his appointment and picking up a point or more against an in-form Tottenham side may give them the boost they need to go forward and widen the gap between themselves and the bottom three.
Roy Hodgson has a number of squad players out still including Jason Puncheon, Wilfried Zaha, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Julian Speroni, Connor Wickham, Jeffrey Schlupp, Scott Dann and Bakary Sako. Martin Kelly and Mamadou Sakho are also unlikely to be named in Hodgson’s squad on Sunday.
Tottenham are unbeaten in their last 14 matches. Whilst their home form has been excellent, their performances on the road have been disappointing. They’ve drawn their last 5 matches away from home and have only picked up 3 wins in their last 14. However, the majority of their losses away from Wembley have come against the like of Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United and Mauricio Pochettino’s men generally see off lower-table sides without a problem.
Spurs have a lot of fixtures ahead with being in the Champions League and having to replay their quarter-final FA Cup fixture after a surprising 2-2 draw away to Rochdale. Thankfully, Pochettino has no injury concerns and should have a deep enough squad to cope with the additional game time.

Crystal Palace vs Tottenham Predictions
Looking at the stats, this could be a tight match. Palace have been excellent at home while Spurs have been poor on the road. Throw in the additional fixtures Tottenham have and the fact Roy Hodgson’s men are battling to pick up points to move away from the bottom three and it could turn out to be a great game. However, the quality in the Tottenham squad can’t be overlooked and with Chelsea facing a tough fixture at Old Trafford earlier in the day, it’s a chance for Spurs to jump into 4th or even 3rd place and be in with a better chance of playing in the Champions League next season. We can expect a fight from Palace but with Spurs having just too much for them.
