England vs Lithuania Prediction and Football Tips
Euro 2016 football tips – England vs Lithuania prediction
The England team go into the game having won every game of Euro 2016 qualification so far, which puts them in a very good place to qualify even at this early stage. Lithuania on the other hand are a mixed bag, having won two and lost two.
England’s injuries have been well publicised and Roy Hodgson has come under some scrutiny for a few of his selections, but that’s part and parcel with the job. England’s team news seems to change on a day to day basis, which means you can never really know who is going to be in the squad until game day. Danny Rose was called up as a replacement for Luke Shaw who dropped out, but now the Spurs left back has dropped out due to his own injury.
- Over the last ten games, England have scored an average of 1.7 goals per match to Lithuania’s 0.7, while the three lions have conceded an average of 1.6 goals to Lithuania’s 1.1.
- In England’s last 10 games, half of those have involved games, in which at least 2.5 goals have been scored. Lithuania have been involved in two, which were both losses (4-0 to Switzerland and 2-1 to Poland).
England and Lithuania have never faced each other before, but they will certainly know what to expect going into the game. This should be a comprehensive England win but England as a nation, rarely make anything easy when it comes to football.
