Espanyol are still without the injured Leo Baptistao and Victor Sanchez has emerged as a huge doubt ahead of this match. Javi Lopez could also miss out while Papakouly Diop is on international duty. Marc Navarro bagged a goal in the win over Granada and should continue at right-back, with Gerard Moreno once again leading the line.

Espanyol really needed the win against Granada after their form had nose dived. It was their first win in five matches, a run which included an unceremonious exit from the Copa del Rey at the hands of plucky Alcorcon. Given that Granada are floundering in the relegation zone, backing the win up will be a massive test for the hosts.

Sevilla are up to second in La Liga and have been in fine form recently. Their new signing Stevan Jovetic stole a crucial three points with his late strike at the Bernabeu (video above) which has really opened up the title race. Sevilla threw caution to the wind against Osasuna but are expected to defend much better here.

Espanyol have been in good nick at home but they come up against a side that has fired at least three goals in their last three away games in La Liga. The visitors have won their last five league games and have come out on top in eight of their last ten matches against Espanyol in all competitions.
