Mr Blue’s Fantasy Football Tips

33 in the first week, 37 in the second, lets smash 40 points with the tips in gameweek four.

Goalkeepers

Romero (£5.1M)

For those who are new to this column you probably won’t know the love and faith I have currently in this man. Still a very cheap keeper, he has three clean sheets in three league games so far and though Swansea will offer a completely new threat, I expect more of the same.

Cech (£5.5M)

Finally Arsenal fans saw the man they thought the signed this summer after a tremendous performance between the sticks against Liverpool on Monday. Arsenal face a Newcastle side who are really struggling to find the net this season and if Cech can find keep his momentum going, Newcastle don’t stand a chance. Many probably already have Cech between the sticks but for those who don’t, buy Romero (love that man).

Defenders

Smalling (£6.1M)

Like Romero, I have put a lot of faith in this player this season. Never been a fan, but after his performance against Tottenham on the opening weekend, I am starting to see what Sir Alex saw all those years ago. As stated Swansea offer a new threat this week, who possess a lot of pace down each flank, but the confidence in the United’s defence is high at the moment and I expect another solid performance.

Gomez (£4.7M)

Charlton fans look away, because your lad has been brilliant thus far. Making the left back role his own, he has been a constant feature so far this season and I doubt Mr Rodgers will be dropping him anytime soon. Be ready Liverpool for a £40M bid from Real in the summer, but until then please fantasy fans jump on board this £4.7M defender. They face a west ham side that since a fantastic performance against Arsenal have all but lost the plot and I doubt it will change at Anfield this weekend who are yet to concede.

Midfielders

Gradel (£6M)

Bournemouth who have scored four goals in their last two games will be looking for of the same this weekend. They may face an inform Leicester side, but this game promises to be an open one, with Gradel’s pace may proving key. Gradel assisted one of the goals last Saturday and forward Callum Wilson will be hoping for more of the same. Maybe not the cheapest option on the market but this could be a one week transfer which provides the goods.

Alli (£4.7M)

Tottenham fans have been screaming for this lad to start since his nutmegs in Munich and may be granted this wish after scoring as a second half substitute in Leicester last week. The young lad who only costs £4.7M has the potential to mimic Gomez for Liverpool and cement a spot. Once he starts playing I doubt he will be stopped so I advise signing him up early, before his value sky rockets.

Striker

Gestede (£6M)

Villa face a Sunderland side who defensive frailties have been laughable thus far this season, with the performance against Exeter in mid-week proving far to nerve racking, conceding another three goals. Gestede who scored on his Villa debut, will look to use his ariel exploits this weekend and show the Villa fans what he can do. I fully expect him to have at least one chance at goal and if he can find anywhere near last season’s form he could prove to be Villa’s gem.

Teams to Avoid

Newcastle

Again just avoid Newcastle, just make it easy for yourself.
