FC Astana will have to continue their Champions League campaign without Patrick Twumasi, who is still serving a suspension. Otherwise, the only possible absentee is Eldos Akhemtov, who could miss out due to injury. Therefore, the starting XI will be very close to that which played at Benfica.
Galatasaray will have to make do without first choice striker Burak Yilmaz, who has a hamstring injury. Umut Bulut is likely to start up-front in his place. Hamit Altintop is also on the sidelines and manager Yasin Oztekin will probably go with a very similar team to that which won at the weekend.

Since their first match in the Champions League group stage, which they lost 2-0 at Benfica, Astana have been struggling for form. They have drawn 1 and lost 2 of their domestic matches since their trip to Portugal, meaning they have dropped further behind Premier League leaders Kairat. However, this will be a huge match in the history of the club and Kazakh football and also their best chance of getting Champions League points.
Galatasaray lost their first match of the group at home to Atletico Madrid 2-0. In a group also containing Benfica, they would have wanted at least a point from that match and now the pressure is on to take maximum points from Astana. Galatasaray have made an inconsistent start to the season and only won their first home match of the season at the weekend.
Astana created chances at Benfica and were unlucky not to score. Not many people will give them a chance here but against an inconsistent Galatasaray team, they have a chance of taking at least a point.
