Golf Betting – 2016 Masters Tip
Your third Masters tip for the first major of the year at Augusta National Golf Club from Thursday 7 April. The Masters course is very well known to golf watchers. It plays around 7435 yards, consisting of undulating fairways and lightening fast greens. It helps to be long around here and favours a high draw. Players have to bring a very good putting touch, as the winner will have to hole a clutch of nerve-jangling 6 & 7 footers for par. Holes to look out for are the Par 5s, 13th and 15th, where in-form players can really make a score over the four days, and for me the run of holes from 9 to 11 are the ones to survive. If I have an in-running punt on Sunday, I will wait for those holes to be completed.
2016 Masters Tip
1 point ew Hideki Matsuyama – 35/1 Sky Bet
Matsuyama is defiantly going the right way in his Masters career. He had a steady opening on his debut and he was placed fifth last year. He also has a win already this year, when winning at Phoenix, and has some steady finishes. There’s not too many weak elements in his game, and though he may not be the longest, he’s got a great putting stroke. A player with a very steady disposition, and has already shown his metal in the heat of battle. Would be no surprise to see him go close.
