The Par 70 Four Seasons course at La Colinas could play longer than its substantial 7,166 yards due rain forecast for the first couple of days. The greens here are notably undulating with slopes and hollows in many greens and players will have to contend with water which is in play on many holes. Accurate iron play is the order of the day and as the wind can blow a bit here, players who have a proven low flight to their shots have a definite advantage.

There’s a lot to like about the South Korean-born Kiwi around the Four Seasons. The course really appears to suit his eye, and 25-year old has recorded two top twenty finishes here.  He has not really produced his best golf of late, and it may have taken some time to get over blowing a winning chance at the Waste Management earlier in the year. But he loves this course, and it is virtually his home with numerous practice rounds under his belt. Whilst he’s not as long off the tee as I would ideally like, I expect him to go well here.
