The Shenzhen International returns this week to the Genzon Golf Club, Shenzhen, Southern China. This scenic parkland track hosted this event for the first time last year but has also played host to the 2014 Volvo China Open. The 7,145yd Par 72 layout is fairly generous off the tee, and water comes into play on many of the holes, which meanders around the Dragon Lake.

The two previous course and distance winners, Alexander Levy and Kiradech Aphibarnrat indicate this is very much a track that is set up to suit an attacking style of play, but steady players like Francesco Molinari and Anders Hansen have also performed well around here. Humid conditions, with possible showers and light winds are forecast for the tournament, so expect more of a birdie fest than last week’s war of attrition around Valderrama, especially if the rough is again not very penal.

Richie Ramsay 50-1 E/W bet365 The nappy factor certainly came up trumps at Augusta, when new father Danny Willett landed the green jacket, and fellow new father Richie Ramsay is our last fancy this week. Until last week, the Scotsman had not been sighted since the Desert Swing, to play the part of a dutiful new father to his new daughter Olivia. He looked in need of the outing last week, but still finished a respectable Tied 29th place on a very unforgiving track. He has form around here, having finished Tied 11th last year, and he certainly fits into the category of the previously mentioned steady golfers, who have also performed well round this course. The renowned tight wad, will no doubt be desperate to win a few quid to pay for a few nappies!
