Hull vs Wolves
It’s a nervy time for Hull who look to have lost any chance of automatic promotion to the Premier League after a run of eight games with only one win to show. They relied on a last minute equaliser to grab a point at Huddersfield on Saturday and while they should finish in the top 6 at the end of the season, they will go into the playoffs as the ‘out-of-form-team’ unless things change soon.
Wolves are in mid-division with nothing left to play for but pride. They’ve underperformed this season and results over the last month show they ought to have been vying for the playoffs as a minimum at this stage. Their last defeat was at league leaders Middlesbrough (2-1) at the beginning of March and they have gone six games undefeated since, including a trip to second-placed Burnley which they drew 1-1 after having the better opportunities.
There is no value at all in backing Hull at around 1/2, they should be nearer even money. Wolves are an outstanding price at 7/1 but we’ll play it safe with the Double Chance of Wolves-Draw which is good value at 13/8 with BetVictor
