All eyes will be on Liverpool after the high profile sale of Philippe Coutinho to Spanish giants Barcelona was confirmed this week. In their last Premier League fixtures, The Reds grabbed a last minute winner against Burnley, while Manchester City brushed aside Watford 3-1 at the Etihad.
The loss of Philippe Coutinho could be the key to this match. A world class player like him is almost impossible to replace, and losing him may also affect the confidence of other players in the side too. There will be no lack of confidence in the Manchester City side though.
Raheem Sterling returning to Anfield will also be another talking point. The England winger has been one of City’s key players so far and he will undoubtedly be booed from the first whistle by the home fans.
