Malaga have a growing injury list with Weligton, Zdravko Kuzmanovic, Sandro Ramírez and Recio in the treatment room. Luis Muñoz, Federico Ricca and Miguel Torres are doubts and Bakary Koné is away on international duty. Martin Demichelis and Luis Hernandez should form a defensive pairing while Juanpi could be pushed forward to a number 10 role in midfield.

Espanyol look set to continue with Jose Antonio Reyes in behind Gerard Moreno following back-to-back victories.
