Manchester United come into this game on the back of a 1-0 League Cup win against Manchester City but were trounced 4-0 away to Chelsea in their latest Premier League encounter. Burnley have so far belied their ‘relegation fodder’ tag and secured an impressive 2-1 home victory over Everton last time out.
Both Marouane Fellaini and Wayne Rooney remain injured, so Jose Mourinho is likely to continue with Ander Herrera and Michael Carrick in the double-pivot, allowing Paul Pogba to adopt a more attacking role. Juan Mata scored the decisive goal through the week and could start ahead of Jesse Lingard.
Burnley will be without influential midfielder Steven Defour which could limit their creative spark. Ashley Barnes is also on the treatment table, so Sam Vokes should continue in attack after scoring the opener against Everton. He’ll be supported by Scott Arfield in the hole, who bagged a late winner last time out.

Jose Mourinho is famed for building sides that are tough to beat on their own turf and United have only lost to Man City in front of their home fans this term. I can’t see anything other than a home victory in this one but don’t expect Man Utd to run away with it. They should put in a professional performance and the price about a 2-0 win looks worth snapping up.
