Middlesbrough vs Bournemouth Prediction, Betting Tips and Preview
Middlesbrough take on Bournemouth in the Premier League this Saturday. Read the match predictions to find out why a draw is the betting tip. It’s an important match for both sides with the threat of relegation never far away and neither side will be taking any unnecessary risks.
Middlesbrough vs Bournemouth Preview
Middlesbrough gave a good account for themselves when earning a point at the Emirates following a 0-0 draw with Arsenal last weekend but still find themselves down in 17th and only out of the drop-zone on goal difference. Bournemouth also put in a solid display to keep Tottenham at bay in another 0-0 draw in front of their home fans.
Aitor Karanka will be without Grant Leadbitter and James Husband who are both in the physio room. Given their impressive display in North London, Boro could set up in a similar fashion here with Gaston Ramirez and Adama Traore providing width to support Alvaro Negredo in attack.
Bournemouth will be pleased that Jack Wilshere competed 90 minutes against Spurs and he’s set to continue in the hole behind Callum Wilson who has notched 3 times this season. Joshua King and Jordan Ibe will start on the flanks and Marc Pugh is the only long-term absentee.

Middlesbrough vs Bournemouth Prediction
Middlesbrough are finding life difficult in the Premier League and are without a win in 8 matches, a run that stretches back to August. They looked in good shape when drawing 1-1 away to West Ham but were out of ideas when losing 0-1 at home to Watford. On a more promising note, if not for the multiple saves by Petr Cech, they could have got more from the recent trip to Arsenal.
Bournemouth are blowing hot and cold with their best results coming at home. They drew 2-2 away to Watford before thumping Hull City 6-1 but could not find a way past Spurs last time out. Bournemouth are perhaps the more likely team to score here but their form on the road is a worry.
Bournemouth are yet to taste success away from the Vitality Stadium this season while Middlesbrough haven’t won at the Riverside. It’s a game that really could go either way and I’m going to sit on the fence and predict a draw. Given that both sides were involved in bore-draws last time out, it could also be worth a bet on Under 2.5 Goals.
