Napoli have been doing well in terms of keeping their players fit this season and once again, manager Maurizio Sarri should have a fully fit squad to choose from. The only concern is Lorenzo Insigne but the Italian should be available for selection. Sarri may choose to rotate Jose Callejon and Dries Mertens in attack.

Palermo are without three players due to injury, they are Francesco Bolzoni, Michel Morganella and Uros Djurdjevic. Therefore, manager Giuseppe Iachini may stick with the same team which started the match against Inter at the weekend, although due to the schedule, there may be one or two changes but nothing major.

Napoli’s great winning run showed no signs of slowing down at the weekend as they won 1-0 at Chievo, thanks to a Gonzalo Higuain strike. That was Napoli’s sixth win in a row in all competitions and they are now undefeated in their last eleven games. Not only have the goals been flowing but the defence is playing well too, having conceded just 3 goals in their last five matches. Only Roma have scored more goals and only Inter have a better defensive record in Serie A.

Palermo consolidated their 1-0 win at Bologna by holding Inter to a 1-1 draw at home on the weekend. After a poor September, where Palermo failed to win a game in the league, they have now picked up 4 points from their last two Serie A games. To date, the club have picked up more points on their travels than they have at home but Napoli is the last place any team would want to be going right now.
