Norwich City vs Aston Villa Prediction, Betting Tips and Preview
Norwich City take on Aston Villa in a televised Championship match this Tuesday. Read the match predictions to find out why a draw is the betting tip at Carrow Road. The Canaries come into this match on the back of a 2-1 defeat away to Barnsley while Aston Villa left it late to secure a 1-0 victory over Wigan Athletic.
Norwich City vs Aston Villa Preview
Norwich are set to ring the changes after the loss to Barnsley. Martin Olsson should come back in at left-back with Youssouf Mulumbu expected to line up alongside Graham Dorrans in central midfield. Matt Jarvis is the only injured player in the squad.
Aston Villa look set to be without Nathan Baker for a third match, as he continues to struggle with a groin problem. Micah Richards and Ritchie De Laet are also out injured, leaving the visitors short of defensive options. Jack Grealish scored the decisive goal against Wigan (see video above) and is the creative spark in Villa’s side.

Norwich City vs Aston Villa Prediction
Norwich City have really started to struggle for form and the gap to an automatic promotion place is now 12 points. It looks as if the Canaries best chance of a promotion is through the playoffs but they need to start winning games to get back into contention. They won their last home game 5-0 against Brentford but had lost the previous two at Carrow Road.
Aston Villa are now just two points behind Norwich, something which seemed scarcely possible when Steve Bruce took the helm a few weeks ago. The Villans have lost once since acquiring a new manager, a 2-0 defeat away to Leeds in their penultimate match. As good as they have been though, Aston Villa are without a win in their last three away matches.
The pressure is well and truly on for Norwich boss Alex Neil and he could be running out of games to turn things around. Aston Villa will be on the cusp of the playoffs, if they can win this match. However, I can see both teams cancelling each other out here and a score-draw is the betting tip.
