Portsmouth v Northampton – Saturday 7 May

Portsmouth are guaranteed a place in the playoffs and cannot finish any higher than their current fifth position.They overcame a late blip when losing back to back games at York and at home in the local derby against Plymouth to win the last three on the bounce.

Northampton secured the League Two title a month ago when drawing 0-0 at Exeter and have taken seven points from three subsequent games. The Cobblers have dominated the title race and the home defeat to Portsmouth in January is the only game they have lost in 32 games going back to mid-October.

Northampton crept over the line with a string of draws last month but the pressure is off and they are great value at 12/5 with Betfred to gain their revenge on Portsmouth.
