Real Betis take on Valencia in a live La Liga match this Saturday lunchtime. Read the match predictions to find out why a home win is the betting tip at Benito Villamarin. Betis had their last match called off, so come into this with fresh legs following a 1-1 draw with Barcelona a fortnight ago. Meanwhile, Valencia slumped to an embarrassing 0-4 home defeat at the hands of Eibar.

Real Betis vs Valencia Preview

Betis are coming to the end of an injury crisis and will welcome a few players back to the squad here. Antonio Sanabria is available for selection but will start on the bench at the expense of Alex Alegria who will line up alongside Castro in the attack. Tosca should come in for Bruno at the back while Joaquín and José Carlos remain sidelined.

Valencia will welcome back Nani, Dani Parejo and Munir from suspension but will now be without Carlos Soler and Ezequiel Garay who are both banned. Enzo Perez and Aderlan Santos should therefore earn rare starts for Los Ches. Rodrigo Moreno is the only injured player for the visiting side.

Team Predictions Real Betis vs Valencia

Valencia 4-3-3 formation: Alves; Gaya, Santos, Mangala, Cancelo; Perez, Suarez, Parejo; Nani, Mina, Orellana

Real Betis vs Valencia Prediction

Real Betis did brilliantly to nick a point against Barcelona and had recently performed well to lose by just a single goal away to heavy favourites Atletico Madrid. In between those matches they played out a drab 0-0 with relegation threatened Sporting Gijon and will be looking to turn in a better performance in front of a home crowd here.

Every time Valencia look like they’ve turned the corner, they take a step back and throw in a disappointing performance. Having beaten Espanyol at home and Villarreal away, they had two players sent off in a 3-1 defeat away to Las Palmas. The resulting suspensions hurt Los Ches and they were picked apart by Eibar last weekend.

Real Betis are unbeaten in six La Liga matches at Benito Villamarin and have kept four clean sheets during that sequence. Valencia have won just one of their last seven away games in the league and look completely shot of confidence at the moment. I’m tipping Betis to record a comfortable victory here.
