Shenzhen International Golf Tip
The Shenzhen International returns this week to the Genzon Golf Club, Shenzhen, Southern China. This scenic parkland track hosted this event for the first time last year, but has also played host to the 2014 Volvo China Open. The 7,145yd Par 72 layout is fairly generous off the tee, and water comes into play on many of the holes, which meanders around the Dragon Lake.
The two previous course and distance winners, Alexander Levy and Kiradech Aphibarnrat indicate this is very much a track that is set up to suit an attacking style of play, but steady players like Francesco Molinari and Anders Hansen have also performed well around here. Humid conditions, with possible showers and light winds are forecast for the tournament, so expect more of a birdie fest than last weeks war of attrition around Valderrama, especially if the rough is again not very penal.
Hopefully we have found three decent bets with chances this week, after Soren Kjeldsen provided E/W returns on our 16/1 bet and Joost Luiten easily landing the Top Ten market bet at 9/4
