Tottenham Hotspur take on Leicester City in the Premier League this Saturday. Read the match predictions to find out why Spurs are the betting tip to get three points at White Hart Lane.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Leicester City Preview

Tottenham were in EFL Cup action through the week but didn’t make it to the quarter-finals after a 2-1 defeat away at Liverpool. Leicester are already out of the cup but picked up their first win in 4 league games with a convincing 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace last weekend.

Mauricio Pochettino didn’t risk Harry Kane on Merseyside but the English international is in line to return here. Moussa Sissoko is unavailable after being charged for an off the ball elbow in last weekend’s goalless draw at Bournemouth.

Leicester have no fresh injury concerns, so Claudio Ranieri is free to name an unchaged side in North London. Matty James is still building up his match fitness with the reserves while Nampalys Mendy remains sidelined with an ankle injury.

Leicester 4-4-2 formation: Schmeichel; Simpson, Morgan, Huth, Fuchs; Mahrez, Drinkwater, King, Musa; Slimani, Okazaki

Tottenham Hotspur vs Leicester City Prediction

Tottenham announced themselves as genuine title contenders when beating Manchester City 2-0 but not much has gone right for them since then. Spurs drew 1-1 with West Brom and were twice held to 0-0 draws away to Bayer Leverkusen and Bournemouth respectively.

Leicester’s league form has suffered as a result of their European adventures and they were trounced 3-0 by Chelsea on their latest visit to the capital. That was followed by a narrow 1-0 victory over København in the Champions League before they eased to victory against Crystal Palace.

What’s alarming for the Foxes is their away form. All four of their league games on the road have ended in defeat. Tottenham fielded something of a shadow side in the League Cup and I’m expecting a response from the home side here. Leicester have what it takes to get on the scoresheet but they have struggled defensively on their travels and Spurs have been firing at the Lane.
