Valencia v Eibar

Valencia’s confidence will have been boosted by victories in the last two games, especially the freak 2-1 win over Barcelona at Camp Nou on Sunday. Their victory over Sevilla, who have not won away in the league this season, followed three successive home defeats which leave Valencia with a worse home record than La Liga’s bottom three teams.

While Valencia have under-performed this season, Eibar have surpassed expectations after finishing 18th last season. They have slipped a few places on the back of losing some tough recent fixtures against Real Madrid, Villarreal and Barcelona but returned to winnings ways against Real Sociedad on Saturday.
