Valencia are missing Munir, Dani Parejo and Nani through suspension, so new signing Simone Zaza will start in attack (see his best goals compilation above). Enzo Perez has a knock, which should see Mario Suarez anchor the midfield. Rodrigo Moreno is definitely out injured for the hosts.

Eibar welcome back Gonzalo Escalante from a ban but Fran Rico should keep him out of the side. Antonio Luna has shaken off a knock and should start at left-back while Alejandro Galvez should get the nod ahead of Mauro Dos Santos in central defence. Valencia’s recent good work was undone in their defeat at Las Palmas, a game which wasn’t made any easier when Munir was given his marching orders early in the second half when Los Ches had a 1 goal lead. They’ll be looking to bounce back to form after winning the previous two matches against Espanyol and Villarreal respectively.

Eibar ended a three game winless streak with their victory over Deportivo but have been less than convincing away from home. They’ve won two of a possible ten on the road in La Liga this season and those successes came against Granada and Sporting Gijon, both of whom are in the relegation zone.

There should be goals in this game with Valencia seeing over 2.5 in six of their last seven matches, a stat that also applies to Eibar’s last three games. Valencia have lost just one of their last five home matches and I think their advantage as hosts gives them an edge over poor travellers Eibar.
