Hellas Verona entertain Juventus in Serie A on Saturday evening. Read our Italian football predictions to find out why an away win is the betting tip at Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi. Verona are a troubled side and losing 4-0 away to Udinese in  their last match keeps them firmly in the relegation zone. Juventus are the reigning champions and come into this match on the back of a 1-0 victory over last season’s runners-up AS Roma.

Verona v Juventus Prediction

Verona took full advantage of their numerical advantage  to beat AC Milan 3-0 in their last home match, after the visitors had a player sent off. That is their only success in five outings in all competitions and their previous home win was nothing to rave about, beating hapless Benevento who again had a player red carded. It’s difficult to see the hosts resisting in this one.

Juventus will bee keeping a keen eye on Napoli’s match away to Crotone 24 hours before this kicks off. With luck they’ll be looking to move ahead of the Serie A leaders but it’s more likely that they’ll stay within a point with victory. The Old Lady is on an eight game unbeaten streak and full of confidence.

I just can’t see Verona causing Juventus any problems here. The visitors arrive having kept a clean sheet in each of their last 5 matches in Serie A. The away side are taken to do a professional job and keep their title defence alive.
