Samu Castillejo may have to settle for a spot on the bench, with Jonathan Dos Santos preferred on the right wing. Up front, Alexandre Pato will partner Nicola Sansone who can be a real handful on his day. The home side have Roberto Soldado, Matteo Musacchio, Denis Cheryshev and Cedric Bakambu out injured.

Granada have both Andres Pereira and Uche suspended here. That could see Panagiotis Kone rushed back into midfield after a lengthy injury. Isaac Cuenca is on standby but Jeremie Boga should shake off his knock to start on the right side of attack. Granada are in the doldrums, languishing in the relegation zone and just a single point off the bottom of the table. There are currently 21 points separating these sides and the visitors’ survival hopes are getting slimmer with each winless week that passes by.

The home side made a really bright start to the season and will be keen to get back to that kind of form. They have a run of tough fixtures after this, so head coach Fran Escribá will be desperate to record a victory here.
