Watford vs Crystal Palace Preview
Crystal Palace pulled six points clear of the relegation zone following their 3-2 victory against Brighton last Saturday and could go above Watford on goal difference with a win here.
Watford’s injury list remains unchanged since last weekend and Javi Gracia continues without the services of Tom Cleverley, Jose Holebas, Gerard Deulofeu, Tommie Hoban, Nathaniel Chalobah, Molle Wague and Younes Kaboul.
Richarlison has been used a substitute for the last two games and will be pushing for a place in the starting eleven while defender Miguel Britos and striker Andre Gray are also hoping for a recall. Gracia has stood behind captain Troy Deeney since taking over in January but must be considering his attacking options with the 29-year-old having gone five games without a goal in his most unproductive season since 2011.
Palace manager Roy Hodgson has a decision to make now that Christian Benteke has regained full fitness. Starting the striker would require a reshuffle leading to James McArthur or Ruben Loftus-Cheek having to sit out. The Eagles are playing well with the current formation and Hodgson may decide to leave the lineup unchanged from the one that beat Brighton.

Watford vs Crystal Palace Prediction
Although both sides are in the bottom half of the league it’s 16th-placed Crystal Palace who carry the most momentum going into this match.
Palace have lost one of the last four games which was a 2-1 home defeat to Liverpool where the Eagles were denied a point by a late finish from Mo Salah.
Following a tough run of games with losses at Everton and Chelsea plus home defeats against Tottenham and Manchester United, Palace stopped the rot with a valuable 2-0 victory away to Huddersfield. They drew their next away game 2-2 at Bournemouth before last Saturday’s 3-2 victory over Brighton.
Watford have gone five games without a win, picking up just one point for the draw at home to Bournemouth on 31 March. The Hornets lost their last home game 2-1 against Burnley and come into this match on the back of 1-0 defeat at Huddersfield.
We can expect to see some goals in this match as Palace are expected to exploit the adventurous play of Zaha and Townsend who are in excellent form at the moment. Luka Milivojevic has been the main beneficiary of their creative play and leads Palace’s scoring stats with 10 goals, eight of which have been first goal of the game. The Serbian midfielder has found the net in three of the last four games and is worth considering for goalscorer bets.
As for the match prediction, Palace are starting to get the results their performances deserve and look the best bet to win here.
