BetVictor
BetVictor Review
BetVictor are one of the most popular bookmakers for punters in the UK, and have been ever since the company was founded in 1946. The branding comes from the former Chairman of the company, Victor Chandler, who the company was named after for a long time until a rebrand.
Using the website is a positive experience, and navigating things is very easy. The site is fully optimised for mobile devices, so I was able to do all the same things on the mobile version as I could on the desktop version of the site.
As well as a sportsbook, there is a popular casino section too.
How to claim BetVictor new customer offer
I was able to qualify for the BetVictor new customer offer as I had not yet registered for a BetVictor account. There was no need to enter any BetVictor promo code when signing up, which made the process a lot quicker.
By signing up for an account and depositing and betting £10, I was able to qualify for a number of free bets that I was able to use across the sportsbook. The terms of the offer stated that the minimum odds for the qualifying bet were Evens (2.0), so I made sure to find a selection at odds of at least these.
The free bets were credited in different forms. The BetVictor welcome bonus is credited as follows; £10 Free Bet to use on any event, £10 Free Bet to use In-Play only, £10 Free Bet to use on 5 folds or greater and a £10 Casino Bonus.
When I had placed the first bet, my free bets were credited within 48 hours. The terms of the offer made it clear that the free bets were valid for 7 days, so if I had not used them within this time period they would have been removed from my account.
I used my free bets on high profile football matches, as this was where BetVictor offered the best value.
BetVictor sports betting
Walking into a bookmaker store and placing your bets could now be a thing of the past, due to how easy it is to place bets on the online website now. I was able to place bets from the comfort of my own home in just a few seconds.
The BetVictor website is well laid out and really easy to navigate, meaning getting my bets placed was a simple process. The colour scheme takes the same branding as the BetVictor logo, with blue, black and white very prominent.
The sportsbook is the main attraction on the site, and I was able to find markets on over 25 sports, plus some special markets, like TV and Politics. The wide range of sports available on the BetVictor site include American Football, Aussie Rules, Baseball, Basketball, Boxing, Cricket, Cycling, Darts, Football, Formula 1, Futsal, Gaelic Football, Golf, Greyhounds, Handball, Horse Racing, Hurling, Ice Hockey, MMA/UFC, Motor Racing, Motorcycling, Politics, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Snooker, Speedway, Tennis, Virtual Sports, Volleyball, Winter Sports.
The number of markets available for each sport was completely dependant on how popular that sport is. For example, Premier League Football matches such as Manchester United v Swansea City had over 60 markets listed. Though, for example Handball matches in the Women’s European Championship was limited to just 5 markets.
The cash out feature was a really useful addition to the BetVictor website too, meaning I could end selected bets early. I did this to take an early profit when my selection was in a winning position. It could also be used to minimise potential losses if it looked like my selection would lose.
Odds and BetVictor bonus funds
BetVictor odds are good in a lot of places. In particular, their Football odds are among the best around, so there is plenty of value to be found here. Any matches or races that are live on TV usually have really good odds available, for example the Super Sunday Premier League games or matches in a big international tournament.
The competitive odds are particularly important when using BetVictor bonus funds, and there are plenty more offers than just the BetVictor new customer offer. Having great odds means that more value was added to the selections that I chose.
BetVictor in-play betting
In-play betting is also a feature on the BetVictor website, and is worth a look if you are looking for value. I was able to easily find the in-play section as there was a tab for it at the top left of the page.
Plenty of sports were available for in-play betting, including; Football, Tennis, Snooker, Ice Hockey, Basketball, Cricket, Handball and Volleyball. The Football matches had the most markets available in general, while some less popular events usually had less markets listed.
In-play Tennis betting has a decent amount of markets available too, with a good amount of markets for both the smaller challenger events and the big Grand Slam events too.
Certain in-play events have some accompanying stats that can be useful. This is good for Football matches, as there is a 2D pitch view. They state where the ball is at all times, and whether or not a team is on a dangerous attack.
BetVictor live streaming sport
Live streaming is an excellent feature on the BetVictor website that I would recommend taking a look at. The streaming is limited to just horse racing but there is still plenty to choose from.
All horse racing from the UK, Ireland, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates is available to stream. All that was needed for me to watch a race was to stake a minimum of £1 on the race itself. Once my bet was placed, BetVictor kept me informed about the availability of the stream.
If you are outside of the UK or Ireland unfortunately you may be unable to stream some horse racing events on the BetVictor website but for people in those countries it is a fantastic service that is worth taking advantage of. The streams are provided by Racing UK and AtTheRaces among others. Replays are available to watch for free too.
I was able to stream these racing events on both a desktop and a mobile device, so there was the option to watch the action while on the move.
Placing in-play bets was made much more simple thanks to the streaming service. By watching the action as it was happening it gave me a much better idea of how the race was going and what bets would be wise to place.
How to deposit for BetVictor bonus funds
Before placing any bets on the BetVictor website, I first needed to deposit some real money funds of my own into my betting account. It must be considered that I am in the UK, so these are all of the deposit methods presented to me. If you are from another country, they may differ from those I’m about to list.
I decided to deposit via a debit card. Card options included Visa and Mastercard. The minimum deposit amount for these methods is £5 and there were no fees involved for depositing, which was a boost. They were also immediately processed and placed into my betting account and ready to use straight away.
Other payment options include; PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, Skrill 1-Tap, Paysafecard and Bank Transfer. The timescale for a Bank Transfer to appear in your betting account is 3-5 working days, while the other payment methods will be processed immediately.
In order to properly qualify for the new customer offer available on BetVictor, I would advise depositing with a debit card. This is due to the fact that the terms state any deposits made through Moneybookers (skrill), Neteller or PaySafe will disqualify you from claiming the welcome offer.
As I deposited funds with a debit card, I also had to withdraw the funds via a debit card. The minimum withdrawal amount for any debit or credit cards is £10. This varies for other payment methods, such as for a Bank Transfer, the minimum is £100.
Getting help from BetVictor live chat
There are plenty of customer service options available on the site and if I needed any help with anything to do with the BetVictor welcome offer, there were a couple of options to get help on the site.
BetVictor have email support, telephone support and Live Chat support. The quickest and easiest way of getting support is the Live Chat, and they are fully trained for any problems you may have.
There is a Contact Us link at the bottom of the page which showed me all of the support options available, such as the email address and contact number. I hope this BetVictor review has been useful for you.
