William Hill online

William Hill are extremely popular with punters both online and on the high street. This bookmaker have been around since way back in 1934 and betting is available in store via a chain of shops or online on the William Hill online betting site.

The website was launched in 1998 and has gone through a number of changes, including one in early 2018. This has made things so much slicker, and the site is very user friendly now.

Navigating around the site is a positive experience, both on a desktop and on mobile. The sportsbook in particular offers some excellent options.

William Hill bonus, how to claim free bet offer

As a new customer with William Hill there is the option to qualify for an excellent William Hill bonus. By registering for an account and entering the promo code H30, I was able to deposit and bet £10 to then receive £30 in free bets.

I had the option of placing my qualifying bet on any sports selection at odds of 1/2 (1.50) or greater, which meant there were plenty of great options. I made sure to choose an option that was as close to the minimum odds as possible to give me the best possible chance of finding a winning bet for my qualifier.

When I had placed the first bet, my £30 in free bets were credited immediately in the form of three £10 free bets. I found that I was able to use these free bets on the same selection, though they had to be placed separately.

The terms of the offer made it  clear that the free bets were valid for 30 days, so if I had not used them within this time period they would have been removed from my account.

I used my free bets on high profile football matches, as this was where William Hill offered the best value.

William Hill online betting

Walking into a bookmaker store and placing your bets seems to be a thing of the past, as it is so much quicker and easier on the online website now. Bets can be placed from the comfort of your own home in just a few seconds.

The William Hill website had an overhaul in early 2018 and thus using the site is a positive experience, as everything has been brought up to date. It is well laid out and very easy to navigate, meaning getting your bets placed is a simple process. The colour scheme takes the same branding as the William Hill logo, with dark blue and yellow prominent features.

The sportsbook is the main focus of the site, and I was able to find markets on over 25 sports, plus some ESports and special markets, like TV and Politics. The full range of sports available on the William Hill site include Football, Horse Racing, Tennis, Greyhounds, Cricket, American Football, Boxing, GAA Football, Ice Hockey, Snooker, Volleyball, Baseball, Cycling, GAA Hurling, Pool, Winter Sports, Basketball, Darts, Golf, Motor Racing, Rugby League, UFC / MMA, Yachting/Sailing, Bowls, Handball, Motorbikes, Rugby Union.

The number of markets available for each sport was dependant on how popular that sport is. For example, Champions League Football matches such as Manchester United v Sevilla had over 300 markets listed. Though, for example a Handball match between Vardar and Nexe was limited to just Home/Draw/Away betting.

The cash out feature is an excellent addition to the William Hill website too, meaning you can end selected bets early. This could be to take an early profit if your selection is in a winning position, or to minimise potential losses if it looks like your selection will lose.

William Hill acca insurance and odds

William Hill odds are competitive in a lot of places. In particular, their Football and Horse Racing odds are good, so there is plenty of value to be found here. Any matches or races that are live on TV usually have very good odds available, such as Super Sunday Premier League games or races at Cheltenham Festival.

The competitive odds are particularly important for the acca insurance offer, which will give you a free bet refund if one of your selections in your five fold accumulator loses. Having great odds means that more value is added to the selections in your accumulator.

William Hill online betting in-play

In-play betting is also available on the William Hill website, and is a great addition to the site.  By going to the betting tab at the top of the page, I was able to easily find the in-play section as there was a tab at the top left of the page.

Plenty of sports were available for in-play betting, including; Football, Tennis, Ice Hockey, Basketball, Baseball, Cricket, Handball and Volleyball. It should come as no surprise that the Football matches had the most markets  available, for example an ongoing match in the French Ligue 2 between Sochaux and Auxerre had 141 markets to choose from.

In-play Tennis betting is okay, with some smaller tournament matches like the ITF tour in Tampa having around 25 markets available. Markets on the other sports vary in terms of popularity, with the likes of Handball and Volleyball having far less than popular Football matches.

William Hill live streaming sports

Live streaming is an excellent feature on the William Hill website that I would recommend taking advantage of. There are thousands of events available to watch each week across a range of sports.

Some were free to watch while others required me to place a bet on the action in order to view a stream. I was able to instantly see which events were currently being live streamed on the in-play page, as there was a button title ‘Streaming Events Only’ which when clicked showed all the ongoing events that could be live streamed.

Streaming is available for free on Football, Tennis, Snooker, Ice Hockey, Darts, Basketball, Handball and Volleyball. I was also able to stream horse racing and greyhound racing, but only if I placed a £1 bet (or 50p each-way bet) on that particular race.

If you are outside of the UK or Ireland unfortunately you’ll be unable to stream any events on the William Hill website but for people in those countries it is a fantastic service that is worth taking advantage of.

I was able to stream these events on both a desktop and a mobile device, so there was the option to watch the action while on the move. Placing in-play bets was made easier thanks to the streaming service. By watching the action as it was happening it gave me a much better idea of how the event was going and what bets would be good to place.

How to deposit for William Hill bonus

In order to get any bets placed on the William Hill website, of course I first needed to deposit some funds of my own. As I am in the UK, these are all of the deposit methods presented to me. If you are from another country, they may differ from those I’m about to list.

The easiest way to deposit is via a debit or credit card. These include Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard and Maestro. The minimum deposit amount for these methods is £5 and there are no fees involved for depositing, which was great news. They were also immediately placed into my betting account and ready to use straight away.

Other payment options include; PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard, Entropay, Eco and Bank Transfer. The timescale for a Bank Transfer to appear in your betting account is 3-5 working days, while the other methods will be processed immediately.

In order to properly qualify for the new customer offer available on William Hill, I would advise depositing with a debit card. This is due to the fact that deposits via Skrill, Skrill 1-Tap, Neteller or PaySafecard will not qualify for the William Hill free bets.

As I deposited funds with a debit card, I also had to withdraw the funds via a debit card. Withdrawal minimums are similar to those of deposits. So, the minimum withdrawal amount for any debit or credit cards is £5. For a Bank Transfer, the minimum is £25.

What to do if you need help with William Hill acca insurance

I looked into the customer service options available on the site and was pretty impressed with those on offer. If you need any help with anything to do with the William Hill bonus, there are a couple of options to get help on the site.

William Hill have email support, telephone support and Live Chat support. The quickest and easiest way of getting help is the Live Chat, and they are really good at sorting out any issues you may have.

There is a Contact Us link at the bottom of the page which showed all of the support options available.
