Hertha Berlin v Hamburger SV Prediction and Preview – 03/10/15
Bundesliga preview – Hertha Berlin v Hamburger SV prediction
Hertha Berlin continue to have Rune Jarstein in goal as Thomas Kraft continues to recover from injury. Hertha’s long injury list will for Niklas Stark to play at centre back with Langkamp and Brooks still out. Valentin Stocker and Tolga Cigerci complete for a starting berth on the left wing.
Hamburg have chosen Jaroslaw Drobny as their number 1 this season with Rene Adler benched. With Spahic feeling unwell through the week Kacar or Cleber will come in to replace him. Lewis Holtby may have to play from the left in order to accommodate Aaron Hunt’s preference of a central role.
Possible Line-ups
Hertha: 4-2-3-1 formation: Jarstein; Weiser, Stark, Lustenberg, Plattenhardt; Darida, Skjelbred; Haraguchi, Kalou, Stocker; Ibisevic
Hamburg: 4-2-3-1 formation: Drobny; Diekmeier, Djourou, Spahic, Ostrzolek; Diaz, Ekdal; Muller, Hunt, Holtby; Lasogga

Prediction
Hertha Berlin sit 6th in the Bundesliga and are undefeated at home this season. Salomon Kalou and Vedad Ibisevic are forming a partnership up front which has the potential to become potent. A good draw away to Frankfurt last weekend built on the win over Koln. The Hertha fans will expect a win over Hamburg but it will not be easy.
Hamburg have won the last two away games against Ingolstadt and M.Gladbach but going to an inform Hertha will be tough. Holtby and Hunt are an excellent creative force, with Pierre-Michel Lasogga having already scored 3 goals this season he will be hoping he can add to his tally and continue Hamburg’s excellent away form.
We have went for Hertha to win a half as the home team and although there have not been many goals in games involving these sides recently we have went for over 2.5 in this game. Lewis Holtby may be deployed in a wider attacking role for this game so don’t be surprised to see him pop up with a goal.
