SV Darmstadt 98 have a choice to make at left back with Junior Diaz and Fabian Holland available. Rosenthal’s continuing success in attacking midfield should see him selected ahead of Vrancic and Sailer in the starting XI. In attack Dominik Stroh-Engel could lead the line and hope to link up with the midfield while holding the ball up waiting for support.
Mainz are still without winger Jairo Samperio to injury along with Fabien Frei in central midfield. Gaetan Bussman and Danny Latza will again fill the gaps for Martin Schmidt’s side. Attacking midfield Yunus Malli has been in top form of late for Mainz playing just behind Yoshinoro Muto who has also been reliable in front of goal at the start of this campaign.

Mainz will want to make a statement in this one and get back to winning ways.
