Atletico Madrid vs Valencia Prediction and Preview – 25/10/15
La Liga preview – Atletico Madrid vs Valencia prediction
Diego Simeone is still without forward Luciano Vietto due to injury and therefore, Jackson Martinez could partner Antoine Griezmann up-front. Atletico Madrid have no other injury or suspension concerns ahead of this game and Simeone won’t be making many changes.
Valencia are still without Diego Alves and Matt Ryan, making Juame an automatic selection between the sticks. Central defender Aymen Abdennour remains a doubt but may be risked in order to keep things tight at the back. Striker Paco Alcacer should continue up-front as part of an attacking three.

Prediction
Having lost two games on the bounce at the end of September, Atletico Madrid have steadied the ship and are now unbeaten in their last three. A 1-1 draw with Real Madrid, was followed up with a solid 2-0 win at Real Sociedad and 4-0 home win over FC Astana in the Champions League. With Celta Vigo and Real Madrid playing each other this weekend, Atletico know this could be an opportunity to move in to the top three places in La Liga.
Valencia have improved over the last few weeks, having started the season poorly. They have won four of their last five matches and during those four wins, they have only conceded 1 goal. However, all four of those wins were against teams Valencia would be expected to defeat and this match, against Atletico, will be a real test of where they are right now. Valencia travel to Madrid having lost their previous two away games in the league.
Both teams have been doing well of late but with home advantage, the edge has to go to Atletico in this one.
