Prediction
Arsenal have had a reasonable start to the league season but historically they struggle against the top teams and this year has been no exception. After the first game against West Ham, the north London club’s only defeat came against Chelsea two weeks ago.
United have surprised a few experts with their form of late having won their last four matches in all competitions and moving to the top of the premier league table last weekend. The form of deadline day signing Anthony Martial has been the biggest surprise of September as the teenager has scored 4 goals in his fledgeling United career.
Form tends to be irrelevant in this rivalry though and it is a difficult game to predict. However the defensive weakness of Arsenal, particularly with Gabriel Paulista at centre back, could just tip the odds in the table topper’s favour.
