Premier League football tips – Crystal Palace vs Swansea prediction

Crystal Palace spoiled the Steven Gerrard party at Anfield last weekend by picking a very impressive 3-1 victory up, with Jason Puncheon really impressing. Swansea meanwhile were outdone and dominated by the domineering Manchester City as they lost 4-2 at the Liberty Stadium, with old boy Wilfried Bony amongst the goals.

Probable lineups

Crystal Palace (4-4-2) Speroni; Ward, Dann, Delaney, Souare; Puncheon, Ledley, McArthur, Zaha; Murray, Bolasie

Swansea (4-2-3-1) Fabianski; Richards, Fernandez, Williams, Taylor; Cork, Shelvey; Dyer, Sigurdsson, Montero; Gomis

  • Palace have won five, drawn none and lost five of their last 10 games
  • Swansea have won five, drawn one and lost four of their last 10 games
  • Over the course of their previous 10 matches, Palace have scored an average of 1.5 goals and conceded an average of 1.3 goals per game
  • Over the course of their previous 10 matches, Swansea have scored an average of 1.5 goals and conceded an average of 1.4 goals per game
  • There have been over 2.5 goals scored in six of Palace’s previous 10 matches
  • There have been over 2.5 goals scored in four of Swansea’s previous 10 matches
  • The last time these teams met, it ended in a 1-1 draw with both goals inside the first half.

This is a tough one to predict, again neither have much to play for but end of season pride, whether that’s enough to spur them on before their holidays is to be seen.

We say:  Draw at 13/5 with Bet365
